MADRID (Interstat) — A Copa del Rey Juvenil matchup on Wednesday pits Naxara, seeking a rebound from a heavy home defeat, against an Eibar side arriving with momentum from a significant road victory.

The Spanish youth tournament fixture at a venue in Naxara will see both clubs open their campaign in the domestic cup competition. Official records for the 2025-26 season across all tournaments are not yet available, leaving both teams with unblemished, albeit unproven, formal marks.

Form from other competitions, however, suggests contrasting trajectories. Eibar’s youth side is riding high after a 2-1 away win against rival Real Sociedad B on Sept. 21. Conversely, Naxara is looking to recover from a 4-1 home loss to Gernika on the same date.

The statistical outlook from Interstat’s game simulator points toward a tightly contested affair, projecting a 1-1 draw when the final whistle blows. The result could hinge on whether Eibar can translate its recent road success into another strong performance away from home, and if Naxara can shore up its defense following the late-September setback.

Kickoff is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025.
