TRABZON, Turkiye (Interstat) — Besiktas and Trabzonspor played to a frantic 3-3 draw in Süper Lig play Sunday at Papara Park Stadyumu.

The match featured six total goals, including two from Besiktas substitute Václav Černý. Trabzonspor’s Oleksandr Zubkov and Besiktas’ Tammy Abraham each had a goal and an assist. The visitors’ Ernest Muçi and Trabzonspor’s Christ Inao Oulaï also scored.

The result defied pregame projections, as statistical models favored Trabzonspor to win. The match turned chippy with seven yellow cards and a red card shown to El Bilal Touré in the 38th minute. Both clubs move to 0-0-1 records in the league and across all competitions this season.
