HAARLEM, Netherlands (Interstat) — Tim Waterink scored in the 67th minute Saturday, lifting De Treffers to a 1-0 victory over Koninklijke UD Deventer in a Tweede Divisie match at Sportpark Koninklijke HFC - Veld 3.

Waterink’s goal was assisted by defender Marijn Ploem. Substitute Sebastiaan van Bakel also recorded an assist. Three yellow cards were issued: Steven van der Heijden in the 71st minute, Ploem in the 90th and Van Bakel in second-half stoppage time.

De Treffers improved to 17-7-7 in league play and 18-7-8 across all competitions. The visitors have won four of their last five matches, including a 4-1 victory over VV Katwijk on April 18.

Koninklijke UD Deventer fell to 11-17-5 in the competition and overall. The loss extends a difficult stretch for the home side, which has dropped three of its last four games.

The result mirrored the teams’ previous head-to-head meeting Nov. 22, 2025, when De Treffers also won 1-0. De Treffers next hosts Spakenburg on May 9, while Koninklijke UD Deventer visits VV Katwijk the same day.
