ROTTERDAM (Interstat) — Jong Sparta defeated Barendrecht 4-1 on Saturday at Sportpark Nieuw Terbregge in a Tweede Divisie match.

Timo de Graaf, a substitute, opened the scoring with a goal in the 22nd minute. Younes Jaber el Maftahi scored in the 54th minute and also had an assist. Redouan Ouali, another substitute, scored in the 70th minute, and forward Viggo Guit added a goal in the 80th minute. Midfielder Noah Sandvliet, defender Alvaro Henry, substitute Kevin Rook and substitute Wouter Vermeer each recorded an assist.

Jaber el Maftahi, Sandvliet, Rook, Vermeer and Henry received yellow cards.

Jong Sparta improved to 12 wins, 10 losses and 8 draws in the Tweede Divisie. Barendrecht dropped to 12 wins, 15 losses and 4 draws. The teams last met Nov. 22, 2025, when Barendrecht won 3-2.
