Jong Sparta vs. Barendrecht

ROTTERDAM (Interstat) — Jong Sparta looks to rebound from a midweek defeat when it hosts Barendrecht on Saturday, April 25, in a Tweede Divisie matchup.

Jong Sparta enters after a 4-1 loss at Telstar on Wednesday, a result that extended a mixed run. Prior to that, the Rotterdam side earned a 3-0 win over Amsterdamsche W on April 11 but lost 3-0 at Almere City on April 18. Jong Sparta has shown offensive firepower this season, including a 4-1 win over Kozakken Boys on March 28 and a 4-0 victory against VV Ijsselmeervogels on March 21.

Barendrecht arrives following a 3-0 loss at home to Spakenburg on April 18, a result that halted recent momentum. The visitors had won two of their previous three, including a 2-1 victory at Koninklijke UD Deventer on April 11. Barendrecht has struggled defensively, allowing three goals in three of its last six matches.
