ALMERE, Netherlands (Interstat) — Substitute Willem den Dekker scored three second-half goals to propel De Treffers to a 3-2 victory over Almere City in a Tweede Divisie match Saturday at Sportpark Fanny Blankers Koen Veld 4. De Treffers overcame an early deficit after Almere City forward Immanuel Ghogli opened the scoring in the third minute. Den Dekker equalized in the 17th, then netted twice more in the 67th and second minute of stoppage time to secure the win. Sebastiaan Hagedoorn scored Almere City’s other goal in the 53rd minute. The result gave De Treffers a winning start to its league campaign, while Almere City began with a loss. The final score exceeded the projection of Interstat’s game simulator, which had favored De Treffers by a narrow margin.
