Swansea Snatches Late Victory at QPR in Championship Clash

LONDON (Interstat) — Swansea City earned a dramatic 2-1 road victory over Queens Park Rangers in a Championship match Tuesday at MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium.

Substitute Ronald scored just two minutes into the game for Swansea. QPR equalized in the 90th minute through defender Rhys Norrington-Davies, but the Welsh side secured all three points with a stoppage-time winner from substitute Žan Vipotnik. Norrington-Davies finished with a goal and an assist.

The result defied pregame projections that favored the home side. Four yellow cards were issued in a contest that saw Swansea improve its league record. Both teams continue their league campaigns Saturday.
