RUISLIP, England (Interstat) — Substitute Jack Nolan scored twice as Morecambe won 3-2 at Wealdstone in a National League match Tuesday.

Olufela Olomola gave Morecambe a lead just three minutes in at Grosvenor Vale. Christopher Popov doubled it in the 34th. Nolan then scored in first-half stoppage time and again in the 58th to make it 3-0.

Wealdstone mounted a comeback with Micah Obiero’s goal in the 73rd minute but fell short. The home side finished with 10 men after Lewis Payne received a second yellow card in the 85th minute.

The victory improves Morecambe’s league record. Wealdstone’s home defeat halts recent momentum.
