EXETER, England (Dec. 9, 2025) (Interstat) — Exeter City opened its League One season with a 1-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday at St James Park. Defender Jack McMillan scored the game’s only goal in the 80th minute, securing the win for the home side. McMillan finished a play set up by teammate Jack Fitzwater, who recorded an assist. Fitzwater also received a yellow card in the 44th minute, as did Wimbledon’s Johnly Yfeko in the 68th.
