Crawley Town vs Oldham Athletic

CRAWLEY, England (Interstat) — Crawley Town looks to halt a late-year slide when it hosts struggling Oldham Athletic in an English League Two match on Saturday.

The matchup at Broadfield Stadium pits two sides seeking momentum as the congested holiday schedule begins. Crawley (W5-D5-L7, 20 points) sits mid-table but arrives having conceded seven goals in its last two outings, a 4-3 loss at Salford City and a 3-1 defeat at Bromley on Tuesday.

Oldham (W4-D5-L8, 17 points) lingers closer to the relegation zone and is desperate to end a goal drought. The Latics have failed to score in three consecutive matches across all competitions, including a 1-0 home loss to Walsall on Wednesday and a 1-0 defeat at Romanian side ASC Oțelul Galați in an obscure friendly on Nov. 29.

Their last league victory was a 3-0 home win over Newport County on Nov. 22. Prior to its current dry spell, Oldham showed defensive resilience with clean sheets in draws against Crewe Alexandra and Barrow in October.

Crawley’s form has been wildly inconsistent, highlighted by a 4-0 road win at Bristol Rovers followed by a 1-0 home loss to Shrewsbury Town in late October. Their attack, however, has found the net in eight of their last ten league games.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, the most likely outcome is a 1-1 draw. A point would do little to ease the pressure on either side ahead of a demanding fixture list.

Following this match, Oldham faces a quick turnaround with a home game against Tranmere Rovers on Dec. 20, followed by a trip to Grimsby Town on Dec. 26. Crawley travels to Swindon Town on Dec. 20 before hosting Colchester United on Dec. 26.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. local time (1500 GMT) on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025.
