PARIS (Interstat) — A tightly contested National 2 match is on tap Friday as Istres hosts Rumilly Vallieres, with both French fourth-tier clubs carrying identical season records into the Halloween fixture.

The two sides are separated by just one point in the Group C table. Istres (3-2-4) will look to build on the momentum from its last outing, a decisive 4-1 road victory over Limonest on Oct. 18. That win snapped a three-match winless streak for the home side.

Rumilly Vallieres (3-1-3) enters following a 1-1 home draw with Andrezieux on the same date. The visitors have been difficult to beat, with just one loss in their last six league contests.
