Seongnam vs Busan I-Park
SEOUL, South Korea (Interstat) — A critical K League 2 match on Sunday pits a surging Seongnam against a struggling Busan I-Park, though recent history suggests goals will be at a premium.
The clubs will meet at Seongnam’s home ground with both teams looking to build momentum late in the season. The three head-to-head matches this year have all ended in 0-0 draws, the most recent being a pair of stalemates on July 12.
Seongnam enters the contest in strong form, having won three of its last four matches. Most recently, Seongnam secured a 3-1 victory over Cheonan City on Nov. 8, following a 2-0 win against Jeonnam Dragons on Nov. 2. The club has scored multiple goals in four of its last five outings.
In contrast, Busan I-Park is mired in a significant scoring slump. The team was shut out 3-0 by Chungnam Asan in its last match on Nov. 8 and has failed to score in three of its last four games. Busan’s only recent offensive bright spot was a 4-1 win over Gimpo Citizen on Oct. 25.
Despite the divergent trajectories, the Interstat game simulator projects another tight, low-scoring affair, predicting a 1-1 draw.
Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025.
