Chungbuk Cheongju FC vs Seoul E-Land
SEOUL, South Korea (Interstat) — A stark contrast in K League 2 form will be on display Sunday when Chungbuk Cheongju FC hosts Seoul E-Land.
The match at Cheongju Sports Complex pits a surging Seoul E-Land side against a Chungbuk Cheongju team mired at the bottom of the table. Seoul E-Land enters the contest with a 16-10-14 league record, while Chungbuk Cheongju has struggled to a 6-18-12 mark.
Despite the disparity in the standings, the head-to-head history this season favors the hosts. Chungbuk Cheongju has won both previous meetings, a 2-1 home victory on July 5 and a 2-0 away win on April 19.
Recent momentum, however, tells a different story. Seoul E-Land is unbeaten in its last five matches across all competitions (3-0-2), including a scoreless draw with Gyeongnam last Saturday. Chungbuk Cheongju has lost three straight and is winless in its last seven, most recently falling 2-0 to Suwon Bluewings.
The Interstat game simulator projects a 1-1 draw.
Seoul E-Land will look to break its losing streak against Chungbuk Cheongju and solidify its playoff positioning. The hosts seek any positive result to halt their slide before visiting Incheon Utd on Nov. 23. Seoul E-Land next hosts Ansan Greeners on the same date.
