MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay (Interstat) — Viborg and Midtjylland played to a 2-2 draw on Sunday in a DBU Pokalen match surprisingly held at Estadio Campeón del Siglo. Viborg’s Mads Søndergaard Clausen opened the scoring in the 14th minute, followed by a goal from defender Nicolas Sandro Bürgy five minutes later. Midtjylland responded with a goal from Gustav Tang Isaksen in the 53rd minute to create the final margin. The result leaves Viborg with an unbeaten record in the domestic cup competition this season.
