TBILISI, Georgia (Interstat) — Anzor Sukhiashvili scored a dramatic winner in second-half stoppage time to lift Merani Tbilisi to a 2-1 victory over Spaeri in the David Kipiani Cup on Saturday. The match, played at Stade Henri Desgrange, required extra time to decide the outcome. Guram Lukava also scored for the home side. Spaeri’s goals came from Levan Papava and Siyanda Given Mathenjwa. The result was an upset, as statistical models heavily favored Spaeri to win.
