GARDABANI, Georgia (Interstat) — A David Kipiani Cup matchup on Saturday pits host Gardabani against rival Rustavi in a clash of Georgian clubs seeking their first win of the tournament.

The match, scheduled for November 1, 2025, will see both sides enter with identical 0-0 records in the domestic cup competition. Their overall season records across all competitions also stand at 0-0, making this an early-season test for each squad.

Recent form, however, appears to favor the home side. Gardabani is coming off a 1-0 victory over Odishi 1919 in a match played on September 18. Rustavi, meanwhile, is entering the contest following a scoreless draw with FC Iberia Tbilisi on October 26.

Statistical projections heavily favor Gardabani to continue its positive momentum. According to Interstat’s ELO system, Gardabani holds a 70.90 percent probability of winning the match. The same outlet’s game simulator predicts a 2-1 final score in favor of the hosts.

The game will be the first cup fixture for both clubs in the 2025 edition of the tournament named for the late Georgian football legend David Kipiani.
