QUETZALTENANGO, Guatemala (Interstat) — Xinabajul defeated Xelaju 1-0 on Saturday in a Week 7 Liga Nacional match at Estadio Mario Camposeco.

The lone goal came from Xinabajul’s Marvin José Ceballos Flores in the 55th minute. The result improved Xinabajul’s league record to 4-1-0 this season. Xelaju, the home side, fell to 19-20-9 in the competition. The match defied a pregame statistical projection that heavily favored Xelaju to win.
