MONNERËCH, Luxembourg (Interstat) — Mondercange and visiting Victoria Rosport played to a 1-1 draw Sunday in a Luxembourg National Division match at Stade Communal.

The result opened the league season for both sides. Defender Johannes Steinbach scored for Victoria Rosport in first-half stoppage time. Mondercange’s equalizer came from midfielder Kader Bourtal in the 54th minute.
