Pyunik Rallies With Three Second-Half Goals to Defeat Noah in Armenian Premier League Match

YEREVAN, Armenia (Interstat) — Pyunik rallied from an early deficit to defeat Noah 3-1 in an Armenian Premier League match Saturday at Junior Sport Stadium.

Noah’s Ilias Alhaft opened the scoring in the third minute, but Pyunik equalized just before halftime on a goal by Hovhannes Harutyunyan. Harutyunyan then assisted Vagner Gonçalves’ go-ahead goal in the 47th minute before sealing the win with his second goal in the 59th.

The victory in Week 17 improves first-place Pyunik’s league record to 10 wins, three losses and three draws. Noah’s record fell to 6-4-5. The result avenged Pyunik’s 2-1 loss to Noah just nine days earlier.
