The decisive equalizer and winner came from substitute Aníbal Vega da Silva, who had entered the match just four minutes prior. In the 87th minute, Vega da Silva scored to level the match, with the assist attributed to a Sportivo Ameliano player on an own goal entry.
The frantic finish secured all three points for Guaraní, capping a match that featured a physical first half. Gutiérrez Serna, who provided an assist for Sportivo Ameliano, was also shown a yellow card in the 80th minute.
The victory continues a strong start to the season for Club Guaraní across all competitions, now holding an identical record of three wins and one loss overall.
