FRANKFURT (Interstat) — Frankfurt defeated visiting Vechta 93-81 on Saturday in a German BBL game. Frankfurt led 21-13 after the first quarter, 44-39 at halftime and 71-60 after three quarters. Tibor Pleiss led Vechta with 21 points, 16 rebounds, one assist and three blocks. Race Thompson starred for Frankfurt with 18 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and one block. Matt Lewis scored 17 points, collected two rebounds and dished five assists for Vechta. Isaiah Swope added 21 points, one rebound, one assist and one block for Frankfurt. Justin Davis had 11 points, four rebounds and one assist for Vechta. Nelson Weidemann added 10 points, four rebounds and two assists. Lloyd Pandi scored 10 points and handed out five assists. Till Pape scored 15 points and grabbed two rebounds for Frankfurt. Ryan Arcidiacono had six points, two rebounds and five assists. Radii Caisin finished with seven points and three rebounds. The win moved Frankfurt to 1-1. Vechta dropped to 4-2.
