UDINE, Italy (Interstat) — Visiting Trento defeated Udine 76-69 on Sunday at Palasport Primo Carnera in a Lega Basket Serie A game. Trento shot 31 of 67 from the field and held a decisive 38-25 rebounding edge, including 15 offensive rebounds. D.J. Steward led Trento with 15 points, five rebounds and five assists. Peyton Aldridge added six points, seven rebounds and two blocks. Andrej Jakimovski, Jordan Philippe Bayehe each scored 12 points, and Khalif Battle contributed 10 points. Udine was led by Eimantas Bendzius with 16 points. Anthony Hickey added 12 points and Aubrey Dawkins had 15. Trento’s offensive rating stood at 115.3 against Udine’s 102.9. Trento committed 12 turnovers but collected three steals and three blocks. Udine shot 23 of 61 from the floor and hit 13 of 17 free throws compared to Trento’s 3 of 4. The win pushed Trento’s season record to 23-24 while Udine dropped to 10-19.
