Trento vs. Udine
UDINE, Italy (Interstat) — Trento visits Udine on Sunday in an Italian Lega Basket Serie A matchup at Palasport Primo Carnera, with both teams looking to build momentum late in the season.
Trento enters at 22-24, having lost four straight. The slide continued Saturday with a 84-74 defeat at Cuore Napoli, despite 19 points and nine rebounds from forward Jordan Philippe Bayehe. The 25-year-old Cameroon native has been a bright spot, averaging 11 points and 5 rebounds over his last three outings, though he struggled in a 103-84 loss at Tortona on April 12 with six points and one rebound. The team’s offense has sputtered, dropping three of its last four by double digits. D.J. Steward added 17 points and four assists in the Napoli loss, and Andrej Jakimovski contributed eight points and six rebounds.
Udine (10-18) snapped a three-game skid with a 95-83 home win over Cantu on Saturday. Guard Semaj Christon led the way with 20 points, four rebounds and seven assists in 25 minutes. The 6-foot-2 veteran has been steady, averaging 15.3 points and 5.7 assists over his last three games, including a 13-point, five-assist outing in an 89-70 loss to Trieste 2004 on April 12. Udine’s defense, however, remains porous; they have allowed 90 or more points in three of their last five contests. Forward Aubrey Dawkins scored 17 points in the Cantu win, and point guard Anthony Hickey added 11 points and seven assists.
The teams met once this season, with Udine winning 82-75 at home on Dec. 27, 2025. Christon scored 18 in that game, and Bayehe had 12 points and eight rebounds for Trento. The teams were scheduled to play Saturday but results were not immediately available.
Trento’s next game is at home against Olimpia Milano on May 9. Udine travels to Cuore Napoli the same day.
Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. local time.
