BOULOGNE-SUR-MER, France (Interstat) — Romain Dardaine posted 21 points and 11 rebounds as Pays de Fougeres edged Boulogne 87-86 in overtime Friday at Salle Damremont in an NM1 contest. Pierre Hannequin scored 25 points for Boulogne, but Pays de Fougeres forced 17 turnovers while committing only 13. The visitors trailed by seven after the first quarter, 23-16, before rallying to take a 36-37 halftime lead. The game remained tight, with Boulogne leading 58-60 entering the fourth. The teams traded baskets in the final period, with Pays de Fougeres scoring 14 to Boulogne’s 18 to force overtime tied at 72. In the extra session, Pays de Fougeres outscored Boulogne 15-14. Dardaine, a power forward from Phalsbourg, added two assists. Mael Lebrun contributed 17 points and six rebounds for the winners. Boulogne shot 12 of 22 from three-point range but 12 of 21 from the free throw line. Pays de Fougeres shot 24 of 34 from the stripe and held a 12-8 edge in steals. The win improved Pays de Fougeres to 21-21; Boulogne fell to 22-18.
