PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Interstat) — Jayden Maiava passed for 277 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 9 yards as Southern California beat Rutgers 42-35 on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at SHI Stadium. Dylan Lonergan threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns for Rutgers. King Miller rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown, while Riley Wormley had a rushing touchdown and a receiving score for the Trojans. Corey Simms caught four passes for 72 yards and a touchdown. KJ Duff had seven receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown for the Scarlet Knights. Antwan Raymond rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown. Christian Pierce made 11 tackles and intercepted a pass, and Prophet Brown returned an interception for a touchdown. Desman Stephens II added seven tackles and a half-sack for Southern California.
