LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — Jayden Maiava threw for 286 yards and two touchdowns and added a rushing score as Southern California beat San Jose State 42-26 on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Maiava completed 25 of 29 passes, including a 9-yard touchdown to Kayden Dixon-Wyatt and a 14-yarder to Trent Mosley. Mosley finished with seven catches for 118 yards and added 56 punt return yards.
