Kansas at Iowa State
AMES, Iowa (Interstat) — A pair of teams jockeying for bowl positioning will meet when the Iowa State Cyclones host the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at Jack Trice Stadium.
Iowa State (6-4) enters the contest with momentum after a 20-17 road victory over Texas Christian on Nov. 8. The Cyclones’ ground game was key in the win, with Carson Hansen rushing for 108 yards and a touchdown.
Kansas (5-5) looks to rebound from a narrow 24-20 loss at Arizona on the same date. Quarterback Jalon Daniels powered the Jayhawks’ offense, throwing for one touchdown and rushing for another while accumulating 74 yards on the ground.
The Jayhawks have shown a pattern of alternating wins and losses over their last five games. Iowa State has been more consistent at home, boasting a 4-1 record in Ames this season, including a season-opening win over Kansas State.
Despite Kansas having a slightly worse overall record, betting markets have installed the Jayhawks as a 3.5-point favorite. The over/under for total points is set at 55.5.
A projection from Interstat, however, contradicts the betting line, forecasting a 34-25 victory for the home-standing Cyclones.
The game is a critical late-season contest for both programs as they seek to solidify their eligibility for the postseason. Kansas needs one win in its final two games to become bowl-eligible, while Iowa State has already secured its spot.
