LORMAN, Miss. (Interstat) — A surging Grambling team visits Alcorn State on Saturday in a Southwestern Athletic Conference clash at Spinks-Casem Stadium.

The Grambling Tigers (7-3) enter on a three-game winning streak, most recently a 31-23 victory over Bethune-Cookman last Saturday. Quarterback Hayden Benoit threw for 220 yards and four touchdowns in the win, while the ground game was paced by Andre Crews’ 130 rushing yards.

The Alcorn State Braves (4-6) are also riding momentum after a 35-17 win over Southern. Quarterback Jaylon Tolbert accounted for two touchdowns and running back Reggie Davis rushed for 110 yards in the victory.

Despite Grambling’s superior record, a projection from Interstat gives a narrow edge to the home team, simulating a 39-32 final score in favor of Alcorn State. The Tigers’ defense will be tested against a Braves offense that has averaged 33 points over its last three contests.

Grambling will look to its balanced offensive attack to extend its streak before closing the regular season at Southern on Nov. 29. Alcorn State aims to build on its recent success before hosting Jackson State on Nov. 22.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025.
