Cornell at Penn

PHILADELPHIA (Interstat) — A surging Cornell team will look to continue its climb up the Ivy League standings when it visits Franklin Field on Saturday to face a Penn squad aiming to stay in the conference title hunt.

The Big Red (3-4) have won three straight, including a 20-17 victory over Princeton last Saturday. Quarterback Garrett Bass-Sulpizio has been a dual-threat, accounting for two touchdowns in the win. He leads a ground game that features Jordan Triplett and John McAuliffe.

The Quakers (5-2) are coming off a 28-21 win over Brown. Quarterback Liam O’Brien passed for 222 yards and a touchdown while adding 67 yards on the ground. Running back Sean Williams Jr. provides a potent rushing option, averaging 6.8 yards per carry in the victory.

Penn holds a distinct advantage in the standings, but Cornell’s recent form suggests a competitive matchup. The Quakers’ two losses came against ranked opponents Yale and Lehigh.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a close contest, favoring Penn 25-20.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025.
