POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (Interstat) — Marist scored 28 points in the second quarter to pull away from Stetson and secure a 41-13 victory on Saturday at Tenney Stadium. Quarterback Sonny Mannino led the Red Foxes, throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for two more, including a 49-yard scoring run. His 78-yard touchdown pass to Connor Hulstein was a highlight. The Marist defense forced three interceptions, with Jace Williamson returning one 45 yards for a touchdown. Stetson’s touchdowns came on a pass from Kael Alexander to Beau Bankston just before halftime and a late rushing score from Cayden Betts. Marist improves to 4-6, while Stetson falls to 3-7.
