Portland State (1-8) snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 40-35 victory over Cal Poly. Quarterbacks John-Keawe Sagapolutele and Tyrese Smith combined for four total touchdowns in the win.

Despite the Vikings’ record, Interstat’s game simulator projects a high-scoring affair, favoring Portland State 43-42.
