Northern Colorado at Northern Arizona

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (Interstat) — The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, looking to solidify a winning season, host the struggling Northern Colorado Bears on Saturday at the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome.

Northern Arizona (5-4) is coming off a narrow 35-32 home loss to Idaho, a game in which quarterback Ty Pennington threw for 267 yards and a touchdown. Running back Seth Cromwell added 116 rushing yards in the defeat. The Lumberjacks have shown offensive firepower, averaging over 30 points per game this season.

They face a Northern Colorado team (3-6) reeling from a 55-7 blowout loss to Montana State. The Bears’ quarterback situation appears unsettled, with Eric Gibson Jr., Peter Costelli and Hank Gibbs all seeing action in the lopsided defeat. The Bears have lost three straight games.

A statistical projection from Interstat forecasts a high-scoring affair, favoring the Lumberjacks 42-28. The game will be a test for the Bears’ defense, which has allowed an average of 33 points during its current losing streak.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025.
