Bowling Green at Eastern Michigan
YPSILANTI, Mich. (Interstat) — Two Mid-American Conference teams looking to salvage their seasons will meet Saturday when the Bowling Green Falcons visit the Eastern Michigan Eagles at Rynearson Stadium.
Both teams enter the contest on losing streaks. The Falcons (3-6) have dropped three straight, including a 28-3 home loss to Buffalo last Saturday where their offense struggled, managing just 100 total passing yards between quarterbacks Drew Pyne and Hunter Najm. Austyn Dendy provided a bright spot with 62 rushing yards.
The Eagles (2-7) have lost two consecutive games, most recently a 28-21 defeat to Ohio on Oct. 25. In that contest, quarterback Noah Kim threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns, adding 30 yards on the ground.
Despite their record, Bowling Green has been installed as a slight 2.5-point favorite. The game is projected to be a high-scoring affair, with an over/under set at 50.5 points. A simulation by Interstat forecasts a narrow 33-29 victory for the visiting Falcons.
The matchup represents a critical point in the schedule for both programs as they aim to build momentum before their respective final two games of the season.
