Colorado at West Virginia
STAR CITY, W.Va. (Interstat) — Two teams looking to salvage their seasons will meet when the Colorado Buffaloes visit the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Milan Puskar Stadium.
Both teams enter the contest with identical 3-6 records across all competitions. The game is a matchup of teams heading in opposite directions based on their most recent outings.
West Virginia is coming off a 45-35 road victory over Houston last Saturday. The Mountaineers’ offense was powered by a strong ground game, with Diore Hubbard rushing for 108 yards and a touchdown and Scotty Fox Jr. adding 65 rushing yards and a touchdown while passing for 157 yards and two more scores.
Conversely, Colorado is reeling from a 52-17 home loss to Arizona. The Buffaloes used three quarterbacks in the defeat, with Julian Lewis, Kaidon Salter and Ryan Staub all seeing action. The loss was Colorado’s second straight by a lopsided margin, following a 53-7 defeat at Utah on Oct. 25.
Despite the teams’ identical records and Colorado’s recent struggles, the Buffaloes have been installed as a 6.5-point favorite by oddsmakers. The over/under for the game is set at 52.5 points. Interstat’s game simulator projects a final score of West Virginia 34, Colorado 24.
