Florida State at Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. (Interstat) — Two ACC rivals seeking to salvage their seasons will meet Saturday when the Florida State Seminoles visit the Clemson Tigers at Memorial Stadium.

Both teams enter the Nov. 8 contest with .500-or-worse records, a rarity for this traditionally high-stakes matchup. Florida State (4-4) is coming off a dominant 42-7 home victory over Wake Forest, while Clemson (3-5) is reeling from a heartbreaking 46-45 loss to Duke.

The Seminoles’ offense found its rhythm against Wake Forest, led by quarterback Tommy Castellanos, who threw for 271 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score. Running back Samuel Singleton Jr. added 91 rushing yards and a touchdown in the win. Despite the recent success, Florida State has been inconsistent, sandwiching the win between a three-game losing streak.

Clemson’s offense showed potency in its narrow defeat, with quarterback Cade Klubnik passing for 385 yards and two touchdowns. However, the Tigers’ defense, which surrendered 46 points to Duke, will be tested by a resurgent Seminoles attack.

Despite Florida State holding a better record, Interstat’s game simulator projects a close 27-24 victory for Clemson. The Seminoles have been installed as a slight pregame favorite with a spread of +1.5, and the over/under is set at 56.5.

The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ABC.
