Ohio, Miami (Ohio) Set for Pivotal MAC East Showdown

ATHENS, Ohio (Interstat) — A critical Mid-American Conference East Division matchup is set for Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, as the Ohio Bobcats host the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks at Peden Stadium.

Both teams enter the contest with identical 5-3 records, adding stakes to the annual “Battle of the Bricks” rivalry. The game is projected to be a tight affair, with Interstat’s simulator forecasting a 26-25 victory for the home-standing Bobcats. Despite that projection, Miami (Ohio) has been installed as a 3.5-point favorite by oddsmakers. The over/under is set at 49.5 points.

The Redhawks are riding a four-game winning streak, most recently defeating Western Michigan 26-17 on Oct. 25. Quarterback Dequan Finn powers the offense, coming off a game where he passed for 260 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 52 yards and another score.

Ohio also brings momentum into the rivalry, having won its last two games. The Bobcats beat Eastern Michigan 28-21 in their last outing, fueled by a balanced attack. Quarterback Parker Navarro threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns, while running back Sieh Bangura rushed for 100 yards and two scores.

The matchup features two of the MAC’s hottest teams in a contest that could have significant implications for the division standings. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EDT.
