Lafayette at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. (Interstat) — A surging Lafayette team visits a struggling Holy Cross squad in a Patriot League matchup Saturday at Fitton Field.

The Leopards (5-3) enter the contest looking to rebound from a 45-13 non-conference road loss at Oregon State on Oct. 18. Prior to that defeat, Lafayette had won four straight, including decisive league victories over Bucknell (62-24) and Fordham (24-10). Quarterback Dean DeNobile leads the offense after throwing for 176 yards and a touchdown against the Beavers.

Holy Cross (1-7) seeks to build on the momentum from a near-upset, falling 29-28 to Colgate on Oct. 25. That tight contest followed the Crusaders’ only win of the season, a 28-22 victory at Richmond. Quarterback Braden Graham passed for two touchdowns in the loss to Colgate.

Despite Holy Cross’ record, Interstat’s game simulator projects a 33-17 win for the Crusaders. The Leopards will aim to defy that prediction and improve their standing in the conference race.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025.
