WORCESTER, Mass. (Interstat) — Kente Edwards rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns as the Lafayette Leopards controlled the clock and defied the oddsmakers with a 21-13 victory over the Holy Cross Crusaders on Saturday at Fitton Field. The Leopards, installed as a 3.5-point underdog, improved to 6-3 overall. Holy Cross, which had been projected by analytics to have a 77.9 percent chance of victory, fell to 1-8.
