Towson rolls past North Carolina A&T in dominant road victory

GREENSBORO, N.C. (Interstat) — Towson erupted for 28 points in the second quarter and cruised to a 62-9 victory over North Carolina A&T on Saturday at Truist Stadium. The Tigers, now 4-5, built a 42-3 halftime lead behind quarterback Andrew Indorf, who threw for 294 yards and two touchdowns. The Aggies, who fell to 2-7, scored their lone touchdown on a 60-yard run by Nelson Layne in the fourth quarter. The lopsided result was a surprise as North Carolina A&T had been a 7.5-point pregame favorite.
