HAMPTON, Va. (Interstat) — A surging Monmouth Hawks squad, riding a four-game winning streak, visits the struggling Hampton Pirates on Saturday in a Coastal Athletic Association matchup at Armstrong Stadium.

The Hawks (5-1) are coming off a dominant 49-21 victory over Stony Brook last Saturday. Their offense has been prolific, averaging over 46 points per game during their current win streak. Quarterbacks Derek Robertson and Frankie Weaver combined for four touchdown passes in the win, while running back Rodney Nelson rushed for 141 yards and two scores.

Conversely, Hampton (2-5) looks to rebound from a 56-14 road loss to Villanova. The Pirates have lost three of their last four games. In their most recent outing, quarterbacks Braden Davis and Earl Woods III each accounted for a rushing touchdown, with Woods III breaking a 102-yard run.

A statistical projection from Interstat anticipates a high-scoring affair, simulating a narrow 42-41 victory for Monmouth.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025.
