WORCESTER, Mass. (Interstat) — Two Patriot League teams heading in opposite directions will meet Saturday when Colgate visits Holy Cross at Fitton Field.

The Crusaders (0-6) are coming off their first victory, a 28-22 win at Richmond last Saturday. Jayden Clerveaux led the way with 77 rushing yards and a touchdown.

They will host a Colgate team (2-4) that has dropped two straight close games, including a 21-17 loss at Georgetown last week. Quarterback Jake Stearney threw for 344 yards and a touchdown in that defeat.

Despite the records, Interstat’s game simulator projects a 28-21 victory for Holy Cross.

Colgate’s offense has shown flashes, scoring 41 points in a win over Cornell on Oct. 4. Holy Cross’s defense will be tested after giving up an average of 30 points per game this season.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025.
