Hawaii at Colorado State

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (Interstat) — A surging Hawaii team will look to continue its climb up the conference standings when it visits a resurgent Colorado State squad at Canvas Stadium on Saturday.

The Warriors (4-2) enter on a two-game winning streak, fresh off a 44-26 victory over Utah State last Saturday. Quarterback Micah Alejado powered the offense, throwing for 413 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

The Rams (2-4), however, are also riding high after a stunning 49-21 rout of Fresno State last Friday. Quarterback Jackson Brousseau was efficient, accounting for three touchdowns in the victory that snapped a three-game losing skid.

Despite Colorado State’s record, Interstat’s game simulator projects a 39-29 win for the Rams. Betting markets, however, list Hawaii as a slight 2.5-point favorite. The over/under is set at 54.5 points.

The game features two offenses finding their rhythm, setting the stage for a potential shootout on the plains of northern Colorado. Hawaii’s balanced attack, led by Alejado and running back Landon Sims, will test a Colorado State defense that delivered its best performance of the season last week.
