Central Connecticut at Robert Morris
MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Interstat) — A surging Central Connecticut team looks to continue its momentum when it visits struggling Robert Morris in a non-conference matchup on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at Joe Walton Stadium.
The Blue Devils (3-3) are coming off a 42-35 shootout victory over Sacred Heart, powered by a dynamic performance from quarterback Brady Olson. Olson threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns while adding 58 yards and another score on the ground. The win was the second in three games for Central Connecticut, which has averaged 35.3 points in its three victories this season.
The Colonials (1-4) have lost three straight, most recently a 24-7 defeat at Merrimack. Their offense has sputtered, failing to score more than 17 points in any of their four losses. Running back Owen McGraw provided a bright spot in the last outing with a 74-yard run, but quarterback play has been inconsistent.
The game features a stark contrast in recent form. Central Connecticut’s offense appears potent, while Robert Morris has struggled to find consistency, particularly against FBS and FCS competition. The Colonials’ lone win came against Division II West Liberty.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, this contest projects to be a high-scoring affair, with Central Connecticut narrowly favored, 34-32.
The game kicks off at 12 p.m. EDT.
