Richmond at Colgate
HAMILTON, N.Y. (Interstat) — Two teams coming off offensive explosions meet when the Richmond Spiders visit the Colgate Raiders on Saturday at Andy Kerr Stadium.
Richmond (3-3) looks to rebound after a 33-28 road loss to Bucknell last week, a game in which quarterback Ashten Snelsire threw for 307 yards and four touchdowns while adding 51 yards rushing. The Spiders’ ground game was also potent, with Aziz Foster-Powell rushing for 108 yards on just eight carries.
Colgate (2-3) enters with momentum after a 41-21 road win over Cornell. Raiders quarterback Jake Stearney threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns in the victory.
Both teams have shown recent potency after early-season struggles. The Spiders have alternated wins and losses over their last four games, while the Raiders have won two of their last three after an 0-2 start.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, Colgate holds a slight edge, projected to win 27-20. The matchup features two of the Patriot League’s top quarterbacks in Snelsire and Stearney, setting the stage for a potential shootout in Hamilton.
The game kicks off at 1 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.
