MOSCOW, Idaho (Interstat) — Eric Gibson Jr. threw for 350 yards and two touchdowns as Northern Colorado upset Idaho 49-33 on Saturday at the Kibbie Dome. The Bears, who were 19-point underdogs, built a 35-17 halftime lead and held off a Vandals rally. Gibson completed 22 of 34 passes, connecting frequently with Carver Cheeks, who had nine catches for 120 yards and a score. Idaho quarterback Jack Wagner threw for 237 yards and a touchdown but was intercepted twice. Both teams are now 2-3 on the season.
