Louisiana at James Madison
HARRISONBURG, Va. (Interstat) — A surging James Madison team looks to continue its strong start when it hosts a Louisiana squad fresh off a dramatic shootout victory on Saturday at Bridgeforth Stadium.
The Dukes (4-1) return from a bye week after a 14-7 defensive win at Georgia State on Oct. 4. Jordan Fuller leads the ground game, rushing for 94 yards in that contest.
The Ragin’ Cajuns (2-3) are coming off a 54-51 win over Marshall on Sept. 27, where quarterback Zeon Winfield was explosive, accounting for five total touchdowns and 258 yards of offense. Despite the win, Louisiana’s defense has been vulnerable, allowing 51 points to Marshall and 52 in a loss to Missouri earlier this season.
James Madison, whose only loss came at then-Louisville, is a 17.5-point favorite according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over/under is 45.5. A projection from Interstat anticipates a 42-23 victory for the Dukes.
The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on ESPNU.
