Iowa State at Colorado
BOULDER, Colo. (Interstat) — The Iowa State Cyclones will look to rebound from their first loss of the season when they visit the Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field on Saturday.
Iowa State (5-1) saw its undefeated start end with a 38-30 road loss to Cincinnati last week. Quarterback Rocco Becht threw for 314 yards and two touchdowns but also tossed two interceptions in the defeat. The Cyclones’ offense, which averaged over 39 points per game during its 5-0 start, will be tested by a Colorado defense that has struggled at times.
The Buffaloes (2-4) are looking to snap a three-game skid after falling 35-21 at TCU. Quarterback Kaidon Salter threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. Colorado’s two victories this season came at home against Delaware and Wyoming.
Despite the disparity in records, the Buffaloes have been installed as a 2.5-point favorite by oddsmakers. A projection from Interstat forecasts a 34-23 victory for Colorado. The over/under is set at 52.5 points.
The game is scheduled for a 12 p.m. EDT kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.
