Columbia at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. (Interstat) — A pair of Ivy League rivals with identical records will meet Friday night when the Princeton Tigers host the Columbia Lions at Princeton Stadium.

Both teams enter the Oct. 3, 2025, contest at 1-1. Columbia is coming off a 19-10 home victory over Georgetown last Saturday. Quarterback Chase Goodwin led the Lions, throwing for 151 yards and a touchdown while adding 44 yards rushing and another score on the ground.

Princeton also evened its record last weekend, defeating Lafayette 38-28 on the road. The Tigers employed a trio of quarterbacks in the win, with Kai Colón, Blaine Hipa and Asher Weiner all contributing to the offensive effort.

The two teams share a common opponent in Lafayette. While the Tigers topped the Leopards, the Lions fell to them 38-14 on Sept. 19.

According to a projection from Interstat, Princeton is a heavy favorite, with the game simulator predicting a 33-12 victory for the home team.

The game kicks off a stretch of conference play for both squads as they continue their pursuit of an Ivy League title.
