Boston College at Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (Interstat) — Two ACC teams looking to steady their seasons will meet Saturday when the Pittsburgh Panthers host the Boston College Eagles at Acrisure Stadium.

Boston College (1-3) enters on a three-game skid, with all three losses coming by a single score. The Eagles are coming off a 28-24 home loss to California last Saturday. Despite the record, their offense has shown explosiveness, led by running back Turbo Richard, who rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the defeat.

Pittsburgh (2-2) also seeks to rebound after a 34-27 home loss to Louisville. The Panthers have split their last two games, falling to Power Five opponents Louisville and West Virginia after decisive wins over Duquesne and Central Michigan to open the year.

The game features a contrast in offensive approaches. The Eagles will lean on a potent ground game, while the Panthers have utilized quarterbacks Eli Holstein and Cole Gonzales.

Despite Boston College’s losing record, oddsmakers list the Eagles as 6.5-point favorites. The over/under is set at 56.5 points. Interstat’s game simulator projects a close contest, predicting a 29-24 victory for Pittsburgh.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025.
