New Hampshire Controls Game, Tops Albany for Home Victory

DURHAM, N.H. (Interstat) — The New Hampshire Wildcats methodically built a lead and defeated the Albany Great Danes 24-6 on Saturday at Wildcat Stadium. New Hampshire scored a touchdown in each of the first three quarters and added a fourth-quarter field goal.

Quarterback Matt Vezza led the Wildcats (2-2), completing 19 of 24 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown while adding another score on the ground. Albany (1-3) was held scoreless until a late fourth-quarter touchdown pass from Colin Parachek to Alex Jreige. Parachek threw for 181 yards but the Great Danes’ offense struggled with consistency throughout the contest.
